Corbett National Park

Corbett National Park is the first wildlife resort in India. It’ was really a breathtaking and adventurous experience for me when I went on a trip to Corbett national park along with my friends. Every year thousands of visitors come to Corbett National Park (CNP) to view tigers with a close look rather than seeing them behind the bars in zoo.

Corbett National Park General Information

Corbett National Park was established in 1936, in the districts of Nanital as Hailey National Park1955-56 it got renamed as Ramganga National park and later on as Jim Corbett Park , in the honor of renowned hunter-turned animal lover Jim Corbett. but after some years inWe arrived at Rampur in the evening at 6 pm. We had our reservation at Dhikala rest house. It was really fun staying there. After an hour we had our diner. Food service wass truly appreciatable. As, we were too tired due to journey, we went on bed to have sleep. Early in the morning after refreshing myself I went on a long drive with my friends. With the help of a guide we saw those rare locations in the Park which we were so beautiful that I couldn’t even explain. I saw a group of deer happily munching on grass; this was my first stumble upon live experience.

We moved ahead and saw few Gharials taking sun-bath on the banks of river Ramganga. We were really exited to see the territory of Tiger. This was a perfect habitat for the growth and survival of tiger, leopard, bear and other such animals. The security provisions in Corbett national park are very tight for protection of flora and fauna. Only some lucky people get an opportunity to have a glance at magnificent creature and nature and I was one of them.

Continuing with the same experience of mine in Corbett National Park in my next post……
